Duane Smith's Annual Ash Wednesday Netball Rally Draws Big Crowd
Member of Parliament for St Andrew North West, Duane Smith, hosted his annual Ash Wednesday netball rally on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at the Sherlock Multipurpose Court, drawing a strong turnout of supporters, players, and residents.
The event was packed with competitors and supporters from across the constituency and showcased exciting competition, community spirit, and sportsmanship. The event has become a staple of the constituency calendar and grows greater each year with more prizes, support and competitors enlisting annually. A fun day was also held to provide entertainment for the entire family with numerous rides, giveaways and refreshment being provided for children.

Teams competed for a number of prizes including trophies, medals and cash prizes which were presented at the end of the rally. The member of parliament extended his gratitude to the partners and sponsors who continue to support this event by contributing significantly towards its growth and success over the years.
