COMMUNITY SIGN UPDATE

During the 2025 General Election Campaign, I noticed that several community signs and even more street signs within the St Andrew North Western constituency were in need of replacement. I committed to several residents that I would undertake a constituency-wide initiative aimed at modernizing and replacing street signs.

The first set of signs includes the Greendale Community sign and the West Kirkland Heights community sign. Street signs were also erected across the constituency. As your member of parliament, I am asking all residents to share with my constituency office or with me personally the names of any street signs or community signs within the constituency that may similarly be in need of replacement. As funds become available, I am committing to replacing as many of these signs as possible to ensure that a sense of pride and beauty can be ignited within our communities starting with these signs.

While roads across the constituency are being repaired and rehabilitated under the SPARK, REACH and other Government-led programmes, the replacement of street signs and community signs across the constituency will add to the improvements of roadways and communities while ensuring greater safety, security and sustainability.
