Our constituency has one of the largest densities of road networks in Jamaica. The Spark Programme will ensure that roads across the constituency that have needed repairs for many years receive the attention they deserve. This government has ensured that the National Debt has been reduced, creating the fiscal space to ensure that capital projects like these can be funded and executed.

Roads such as Addington Drive serve several communities and connect major corridors within the constituency. In ensuring that a full rehabilitation is done, we are not only improving the commute of persons who live along these roadways but also improving the commute for thousands of motorists across Jamaica.

BEFORE SPARK

Before the Spark Programme, Addington Drive was the source of much displeasure and concern among residents.

The repairs effected under the Spark Programme will change the lives of many Jamaicans and I am grateful for the support of the Central Government in making this a reality. As your member of Parliament, I remain committed to ensuring Addington will be the first of many roads across the constituency that will undergo transformation and stand and a template for other deteriorating roadways within St Andrew North West.
